Role overview
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support the Group Marketing design team across a wide range of local and global projects. This role supports the design process under routine guidance and contributes to the overall success of the team by delivering high-quality, on-brand creative work across digital and print channels.
The role covers a broad spectrum of graphic design, including digital, print and presentation materials. The role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their career who is keen to develop strong brand discipline, execution skills and confidence working within a professional services environment.
Key responsibilities
Graphic and digital design
- Design and produce on-brand creative assets across multiple channels, including:
- Campaign and marketing materials
- Social media and website assets
- Digital advertisements and multi-channel campaign assets
- Email design and supporting assets
- Presentation and document design, including: Content creation platform— Foleon support
- C-suite PowerPoint presentation
- Supporting document for top priority bid
- Design digital publication using Foleon – a platform for delivering high-quality visual content online
- Apply existing templates and brand rules to ensure consistency, clarity and quality
- Support interactive data visualisation, layout and content hierarchy within Foleon outputs
- Refine and gradually expand the Foleon template library
Print and event design
- Support occasional print design, including:
- Banners and event backdrops
- Physical brochures and printed collateral
- High quality merchandise design
- Ensure print outputs follow brand guidelines and production best practice.
- Contribute to a variety of in-house creative projects.
- Maintain and organise digital asset libraries, ensuring files are tidy, clearly named and easy for others to access.
- Occasionally support video production using Storykit.
What success looks like in the first 6 months
- Fully settled into the design team’s briefing, review and delivery process.
- Strong understanding of the Currie & Brown brand and how it is applied across digital and print.
- Confident delivering day-to-day graphic design tasks with reduced supervision.
- Able to produce clear, well-structured Foleon and presentation outputs that meet brand and business expectations.
- Demonstrates strong organisation, reliability and collaboration within the team.
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in design, graphic design, digital design, advertising design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in graphic design, digital design or a related role.
- Confident use of design software, particularly:
- InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro or After Effects is not required but welcomed
- Strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including layout, hierarchy, typography, colour and composition.
- Comfortable designing for digital and print outputs, with attention to detail and production quality.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, in a corporate environment.
- Clear communicator, able to explain design decisions and respond constructively to feedback.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working within a defined brand or design system.
- Experience working as in-house designer for a corporate or professional services firm, with international stakeholders.
- Experience with CMS or content platforms, particularly Foleon.
- Basic video editing or motion design experience.
