    Following the launch of Currie and Brown’s new brand, video has become a critical part of how we communicate with clients, partners and senior stakeholders. Demand has increased particularly for major bids, leadership communications and brand-led digital content.

    We are looking for a Junior Video and Digital Designer to support the growing demand for high-quality, on-brand video content across the business. This role sits within Group Marketing and focuses primarily on video and motion-led content, with occasional support on simple digital design tasks.

    This role is ideal for someone 5 years’ experience who has strong skills in video editing and digital design principles. They should be keen to work within a defined brand system in a B2B marketing environment.

    This role helps build sustainable in-house video capability while maintaining quality, consistency and brand integrity.

    Key responsibilities

    Video and motion (primary focus):

    • Create on-brand, high impact video content for:
    • Brand and marketing initiatives
    • Major bids and proposals
    • Leadership and executive communications.
    • Work from video project briefs and signed-off scripts to:
    • Create storyboards for review and approval, or
    • Produce strong first-cut videos with clear structure and pacing.
    • Adapt longer-form videos into short, bite-sized assets for social media and multi-channel campaign use.

      Motion system and brand development:

    • Work confidently within the existing motion and brand system.
    • Support the ongoing development of motion assets and templates.
    • Explore and develop new video and motion creative direction.

      Storykit and regional support:

    • Storykit is a digital platform that we use to create high-quality videos quickly. The post-holder will be supported to become a Storykit superuser, supporting regional marketing teams who use Storykit to create simple video content.
    • Provide guidance, review, refine and improve Storykit outputs to ensure brand consistency.
    • Expand existing Storykit template library.

      Digital design support (secondary):

      Support simple digital design tasks when required (digital-only), such as, but not limited to:

    • Adaptations from video to static assets;
    • Develop digital assets supporting key videos in high priority campaigns, such as email headers, social media assets etc.

      What success looks like in the first 6 months

    •  Fully settled into the design team’s briefing, review and delivery process.

    •  Strong understanding of the Currie & Brown brand and motion principles, acting as a brand ambassador in video.

    •  Able to work semi-independently on video briefs and deliver strong first cuts that require minimal rework.

    •  Contribute ideas to evolve and expand our motion approach in a controlled, brand-aligned way.

    •  Superuser of Storykit, including reviewing and improving regional video outputs with confident.

      Skills and experience

      Essential requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in design, graphic design, digital design, advertising design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 5 years’ professional experience in video, digital design or a related role.
    • Confident use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
    • Premiere Pro and After Effects (clean, controlled motion rather than complex animation)
    • Photoshop and Media Encoder
    • Basic working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Audition.
    • Good understanding of graphic design fundamentals as applied to video and digital content, including layout, hierarchy, typography and composition.
    • Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, tone and clarity in video storytelling.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, in a corporate environment.
    • Able to learn and adapt quickly to new video tools and platforms (for example, Storykit).
    • Clear communicator, able to explain design and video decisions and translate ideas into practical outputs.

      Desirable but not essential:

    • Experience working within a defined brand or design system.
    • Experience with Figma.
    • Exposure to 3D animation or other motion software.
    • Experience working as in-house designer for a corporate or professional services firm, with international stakeholders.

    • Stay up to date with video design trends and contribute ideas to the creative team.
